SMOKING: QUIT WITHOUT A PENNY FOR DRUG, OR DOCTOR'S ADVICE - LEARN HOW -

SMOKING:

QUIT WITHOUT A PENNY FOR DRUG, OR DOCTOR'S ADVICE

I love smoking, do you?

As I have reach the age of twelve I begin smoking. Pretty young uh… The reason as I learned from many years in my life why I learned smoking, well it simple as I’ve seen my father smoke Spanish Cigar and Phillip Morris, my mother as well, smoke Pall Mall, my uncle, my cousin, my friends, my neighbor… ah they all smoke! I really had no choice at that time. Everybody teased me a gay/homosexual. I cannot afford it – I am really a MAN!! That is the great motive I have in mind why am I smoking.

Time goes by, somebody told me smoking is prohibited, because it is the leading manufacturer of the disease cancer.

So what! I LOVE SMOKING, I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT A STICK OF CIGARETTE IN MY LIFE.

What make us addicted to cigarette smoking?

Cigarettes are designed to give you a fast nicotine hit. It takes less than 20 seconds for the drug to reach your brain from inhaled cigarette smoke.Cigarette smoke contains over 4,000 chemicals, including 43 known cancer-causing (carcinogenic) compounds and 400 other toxins. These include nicotine, tar, and carbon monoxide, as well as formaldehyde, ammonia, hydrogen cyanide, arsenic, and DDT. Nicotine is highly addictive. Nicotine causes addiction in much the same way as heroin or cocaine. It is just as addictive as these ‘harder’ drugs.

So when tobacco is burned and inhaled, one of the 4,000 or more chemicals that enter the body is CO. When the smoke is inhaled into the lungs, CO is rapidly absorbed into the blood stream. CO binds to the hemoglobin in the red blood cells 200 times more effectively than oxygen does. Then carbon monoxide is one of the fatal content of a cigarette and is a leading contributor to death and illness among Americans. Significantly fewer than half of all American adults smoke. Slightly more men smoke than women. Hispanics and Asian Americans smoke less than whites or African Americans.

Do Smokers a contributor to the death of someone not smoking?

Yes is the big answer. The CO that burned and inhaled and puff out by every smokers and sniffed by the other person around them is as fatal as smoking an actual cigarette.
Smoking is by far the biggest cause of cancer
Thanks to years of research, the links between smoking and cancer are now very clear. Smoking accounts for more than 1 in 4 UK cancer deaths, and nearly a fifth of all cancer cases. Tobacco was responsible for more than 100 million deaths worldwide in the 20th Century. The World Health Organization has estimated that, if current trends continue, tobacco could cause a billion deaths in the 21st Century.
What basic diseases smokers could get in smoking?

Coughs, colds, wheezing and asthma are just the start. Smoking can cause fatal diseases such as pneumonia, emphysema and lung cancer. Smoking causes eighty four percent of deaths from lung cancer and eighty three percent of deaths from chronic pulmonary disease. Of the more than 7,000 chemicals in tobacco smoke, at least 250 are known to be harmful, including hydrogen cyanide, carbon monoxide, and ammonia (1, 2, 5). Among the 250 known harmful chemicals in tobacco smoke, at least 69 can cause cancer.

How long shall a smokers live in this earth if they did not quit smoking?
·         Cigarette 1 equals 11 minutes of your life
·         10 cigarettes a day = 110 minutes or 1.84 hours a day
·         10 cigarettes X 366 days a year = 3660 stick a year or 183 pack
·         3660 stick 10= X 1.84 hours = 6734.4 hours a year
·         6734.4 hours a year / 24 hours a day  = 280.6
SO IF YOU ARE TWELVE YEARS OLD TODAY AND ELEVATE YOUR SMOKING ADDICTION WEEKLY, YOU WILL NOT REACHED THE AGE OF 50 TRANSPARENTLY SURE.
Cigarette Smoking Overview

Since 1964, when the Surgeon General issued the first report outlining the health dangers of smoking, the prevalence of smoking has dropped among adults. The incidence of lung cancerchronic bronchitis, and emphysema would become significantly less common if people would stop smoking.
Compared to a nonsmoker, a smoker faces these risks:
·         fourteen times greater risk of dying from cancer of the lung, throat, or mouth;
·         four times greater risk of dying from cancer of the esophagus;
·         two times greater risk of dying from a heart attack;
·         and
·         two times greater risk of dying from cancer of the bladder.
·         heart disease
·         stroke
·         hypertension (high blood pressure)
·         other diseases of blood vessels (such as poor circulation in the legs) and aortic
aneurysms (potentially life-threatening disruptions in the wall of the aorta)
·         respiratory illness, including the following:
o    lung cancer
o    emphysema
o    bronchitis
o    pneumonia
·         cancers, including:
o    lip or mouth
o    pharynx or larynx (voice box)
o    esophagus (food pipe)
o    stomach
o    pancreas
o    kidney
o    urinary bladder
o    cervix
o    ovary
·         peptic ulcer disease
·         burns

Doctor’s counsel
If you are interested in quitting smoking, call your doctor.
·         It is never too early to think about quitting.
·         Every encounter with a doctor, whether in the office, the hospital, the emergency department, or clinic, is a good time to talk about smoking and the possibility of quitting.

Anyone, especially smokers, with unexplained or sudden onset chest pain or difficulty breathing should go to the nearest hospital's emergency department, probably by ambulance. These conditions may be symptoms of a heart attack or other serious health problems. Tobacco use may lead or contribute to one of the following causes of dyspnea or chest pain:
·         pneumonia,
·         acute attack of emphysema,
·         pulmonary embolism (blood clot in the lung),
·         aortic aneurysm (a widening of the main artery leaving the heart, caused by a weakening in the wall of the artery), and
·         aortic dissection (a tearing of the wall of the aorta, which, if it ruptures, bleeds profusely).

Is it good to quit, then smoke again?

Studies have shown that even people who smoke on average 1-4 cigarettes a day are still more likely to die early than non-smokers. The risk is increased even if you don’t smoke every day, smoking 20 cigarettes in a week is an average of nearly 3 cigarettes a day. The addiction effect of one stick of cigarette was the same even if you smoke 10 packs of cigarettes in a week.
How about ‘low tar’ cigarettes?
Smokers have a much higher risk of lung cancer than non-smokers, whatever type of cigarette they smoke.
Filters and low-tar cigarettes make little difference – your lung cancer risk is not lower. This may be because smokers tend to change the way they smoke in order to satisfy their nicotine craving, for example by taking bigger puffs or smoking more cigarettes.

What influences the risk of cancer from smoking?

The more cigarettes you smoke a day, the higher your risk of cancer. Scientists have found that the number of years you spend smoking affects your cancer risk even more strongly than the number of cigarettes you smoke a day. For example, smoking one pack a day for 40 years is more dangerous than smoking two packs a day for 20 years.
The serious damaging effects of smoking cannot be cancelled out by leading an otherwise healthy lifestyle, like keeping fit and eating healthily. The best way to reduce your risk is to give up smoking completely.

QUIT

OR

WHAT?

Really there were many suggestions, consultations, studies, proofs made by doctor, individuals, that at first seems to cure your HUNGER for a stick of cigarette.

I tried too many ways of how to quit smoking.
I lessen the number of cigarettes I smoke, I ate candies as substitute, pipes, even at the risk that my wife and children told me that they would leave me if I do not quit smoking.

I really cried because I love cigarettes more than my wife and my children.I CANNOT QUIT SMOKING!
That's FINAL.

Until that night, on September 10,1999; before I sleep, looking firmly to my hand - a pack of cigarette, look nice to my eyes. I sigh, get one stick of my beloved cigarette. My companion for more than 30 years, that witnesseth the up and downs of my life, in sorrow and in sickness, she is there the beautiful babe of my life...cigarette.

But I have to make a decision: Quit or What?

  • If you will analyze those two, in Quit there may be a chance.
  • In What... it is blur. You cannot see The Light.

All of a sudden, I looked up in Heaven seeing the stars, the greatest and magnificent work of GOD.
I said to Him. God did not know what I will be tomorrow, did not even know if I can make this, MAKE ME BLIND MY GOD, SO THAT I CAN FEEL YOUR HANDS GUIDING ME TO WHERE I WILL BE. I throw the cigarette pack and the match to the water and begin crying...

The next day, GOD blinded me. My wife was angered in saying: "why was your cigarette is in the washbasin?" I answered her, "did not I have told you that this day will be my baptism day?"

This is the day I see nothing except the thoughts that I will be Baptized!

And that was seventeen years ago. Never a single stick of cigarette or a glass of wine or another girl in my life. Because GOD made me blind of the vices and happiness that this world can offer.

I'm not telling you this secret of mine on how to QUIT SMOKING without a penny for a drug, or a doctor's advice, just to advertise my belief, my religion, or myself. But as a person who before was beguiled by the devil, I am your brother in smoking before.

We have to QUIT brothers; or What will be our life, our family, our community, make your life sense, be blind, feel the power that once in my life lifted me up or if I am not done it we will see each other in hell?

Lastly, I want to thank God for He gave me You… . And I hope this will not be our last link or correlation, for Jesus is waiting to changed your life and submit you to GOD almighty.
