OVERVIEW
The world was reading the bible in so many reasons. It might be the ff:
·         Personal - “I just want to sleep” is the personal reason
·         Salvation – “they told me if I die I will be revive”
·         Curiosity – just reading for some information
·         Fallacy – Atheist; “ to prove that we are the correct one”
·         Sharing – want to share it for a discussion
·         Boasting – I am learned about the bible, want to try me?
·         Searching – I want to know who really was correct
·         Publicity – to let the people know we are bible learned
·         Money – I will be the pastor of God. Give tithes to the Lord!
·         Money – we print the word of God to guide you. Pay $10 each.
·         Money – we research the word of the Lord and open free to internet users- your Donation please.
There were many other reasons that mankind may say but, ask yourself “do you love God?” maybe you can give a better intention if you answer it heartily.
Anyway, whatever purpose a man may have the bible will always be a compilation of God existence and miracles, sufferings and grieve, wrath and kindness, and above all, LOVE. God is the first one to extend His Love on us…
Let us start our reading ventures with these:

Your habit in reading

Develop a reading habit that suit your:
1.   time -  usually the best time is 5:30 in the morning or 9:30 in the evening
2.   Place - this place is your comfort zone wherein you do the bible reading.
3.   Environment – a noiseless environment.
4.   Improve your reading skills - In order to build your reading habit and understand the bible to the fullest, begin practicing goo reading skills by:
·         Read for the content. When you read, read for the main idea of each paragraph, along with its supporting reasons.
·         Read with a pencil in hand to take notes or underline the key idea of each paragraph.
5.   Keep reading materials handy- A Tennis player can't practice if she doesn't have her ball, racket  and sneakers ready.
Reading is the same as any other skills.

Your habit in understanding what you read

Learning to read is the most important. But to understand what really the essence of what you read is the most important part in reading. Reading is a complex process that builds and encompasses both specific skills to develop. The precise ways in which this process; are tried by so many  scholars. But, understanding the bible needs a very far different method. It must be Holy. Somebody not human must be a guide. Asking this whenever you pray to God is the best. So god will send you the Holy Spirit to protect your mind from disturbances.

Plot your schedule
Although you will have the Holy Spirit to guide you in reading the bible, you have to initiate first yourself of what particular part of the Bible you have to read. Initialize your plot with this sample.
·         Date                Your start date to read the bible
·         Books              Genesis
·         Chapters         Genesis I, Genesis II, Genesis III…
·         Pointers         God created the heaven and earth…
God rested on the seventh day…

Your bible version preferences

Prepare the old King James versions Bible. After a year of reading the bible and you want to explore or compare what you have been read to other versions, do it continually.

Where do you want to read it most?

This is not the place we mentioned above. This is a place outside your home.
You’ll bring a pocket Bible wherever you are outside your home. Read it to a place where you can find “silence of the heart”; because the heart hears even the faintest sounds.

Prepare your eating fondness

This is the material reward of a weary body. When reading bible you will cry a lot at a time. This is the evidences that the Holy Spirit get involved in your reading.

Are you ready to start reading?
Prayer here:
God Almighty,
I have sinned against you.
I was beguiled by the Devil.
It is really frustrating God to be a spot in your shining Righteousness.
Forgive me Father, I am intended to accept my punishment for the sin I have done. But let me have your forgiveness and kindness after the punishment.
Thank you for everything Lord, especially this very time and opportunity to thank you and praise your Almighty Name in the name of Jesus my Lord and Savior… Amen.

Know the division of the bible

In reality the parts of the Bible were not thoroughly its part. It is because the Bible is a composition/organization of books. So each part contains a separate Table of contents, Introductions, and paragraphing or sectioning. We will look at it in a simple way, it has:
·         Title of the BookGenesis up to revelation
·         The number of Chapters – Gen. 1: 7(read as Genesis Chapter 1 Verse 7)
·         The division of Verses- Gen. 1: 7-28
If you use the Electronic Sword Bible, it has a commentaries and a search box, in there you can search for a particular word.
You can download it through the internet for free.

Premise
Gen 1:1
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

One of the key questions Hubble was built to answer was simple to state: How old is the universe? In the 1920s, Edwin Hubble, using the 100inch telescope at Mount Wilson, California, proved that galaxies exist beyond our Milky Way and showed the universe was expanding, with more distant galaxies flying away at higher and higher velocities. But to determine the age of the universe, astronomers needed a precise understanding of the distances to remote galaxies and their velocities. Then, by "running the film backwards," they could figure out how long the universe had been expanding and, therefore, how old it must be.

One way to figure out how far away a remote galaxy might be is to look for individual Cepheid variable stars in the target galaxy suns that pulsate with a frequency directly related to their intrinsic brightness. By comparing the brightness of the distant Cepheids to nearby relatives, astronomers could compute the distance to the remote galaxy. That's hard to do from Earth, but astronomer Wendy Freedman and a team of researchers used Hubble's extraordinary resolution to spot Cepheids in more than two dozen galaxies.

Those data, combined with observations by other ground and space based instruments, allowed astronomers to eventually pin down the age of the universe at 13.8 billion years, plus or minus 3 percent.

So, reading the bible is a great task as per statement from the bible "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth" and that was a billion years. Can we take this shortly to fully and correctly understand? Let's begin:

I prepare your guide in studying the bible is by initiating a question related to the bible chapters and verses. Origin of the reading and understanding the bible…
In this tenth day of your pursue to jump in to the way of the Lord. You make another assessment thru yourself, if the holy spirit of the Lord is within your heart, mind and soul.
And it is absolutely been transparent in yourself, because you came up with the tenth days of reading the bible.
Now that you truly trust the Lord, are you ready for the second chapter of our reading and understanding the bible?
Pin this Chapter and Verses:
Mal achi1:10
Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nothing? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nothing. I have no pleasure in you, said the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.
Malachi 1:11
For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, said the LORD of hosts.

In this pronouncement of God, we have to be cautious to every religion or belief that we are into, because the Lord said “from the rising of the sun, my name shall be great among the Gentiles”(gentiles is anyone who does not belong to the Israelites).
·         So with the help of Google map we can perfectly pinpoint the exact location of the country that embedded the rising sun.
·         Remember that it is a nation believed in the true God, not Idols.
·         Remember too that it will be “from” then “unto” so the track was from then unto the setting of the sun.
·         That hint is our guide in searching the descendant of Abraham.
·         We will add in our search in understanding the bible the reading of the New Testaments, for Malachi is the last Books of the old Testaments.
But why should we read the New Testaments? It is because if we continue to read the Old Testaments we could not fulfill the commandments of the lord as Gentiles. Are we Israelites? No, we are not. Then we have to be united with the Gentiles in the East, wherein they praise and offered a pure offering to the Great name of the Lord God.
Aside from that if you will examine the TEN COMMANDMENTS execute during the time of Moses: you will find out that it is only for the Israelites and it is a physical rule that the Israelites must sustained but failed to do so.

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS OF THE LORD GOD TO ISRAEL

Exodus 20:2
·         I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shall have no other gods before me. Thou shall not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

·         Thou shall not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

·         Thou shall not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that take his name in vain.

·         Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shall thou labor, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:  For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

·         Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God give thee.

  • ·         Thou shall not kill.

  • ·         Thou shall not commit adultery.

  • ·         Thou shall not steal.

  • ·         Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

  • ·         Thou shall not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shall not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbor's.

Exodus 20:18
And all the people saw the thundering, and the lightning, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off.

Therefore, we have to follow it because it is the commandments of God, although it is intended for the Israelites.
Now, God renewed the covenant to the Israelites. The renewal was in Isaiah:

Isaiah 7:13
And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?
Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

This is another pronouncement of the Lord that a virgin (Mary) shall conceive a child (Jesus) and call His name Immanuel or “God is with us.”

In extend of our reading and understanding what we read, we will proceed reading the bible in the books called “New Testaments.” Remember, we are reading to create understanding of the content of the bible in order to know the truth of the salvation and protection of God then, we unite with them. Since God direct to us from the “rising of the sun” we as gentiles must obey the commandment of the lord.
