Now, the next probable question that might arise is: can you reproduce a child this year? Yes! every male will answered without hesitation. Despite the fact that it is easy with other couples to conceive a child, it is still a fact that there were couples who cannot do it.
Without hesitation, everything
was done as planned, the honeymoon, pictorials, vacation abroad, subsequently
after those loving moments Bossing and Poleng were back to work hosting “Eat
Bulaga” a noon time show aired by GMA 7 Philippines.
The following were question that
was unavoidable and remains a fact until a women conceived a baby.
- Does a man's age affects fertility which cause pregnancy?
Reproduction
(or making a baby) is a simple and natural experience for most couples.
However, for some couples it is very difficult to conceive. A man’s fertility
generally relies on the quantity and quality of his sperm. If the number of sperm a
man ejaculates is low or if the sperm are of a poor quality, it will be
difficult, and sometimes impossible, for him to cause a pregnancy.
Male
infertility is diagnosed when, after testing both partners, reproductive problems have
been found in the male.
Infertility
is a widespread problem. For about one in five infertile couples the problem
lies solely in the male partner. In most cases, there are no obvious signs of infertility.
Intercourse, erections and ejaculation will usually happen without difficulty.
The quantity and appearance of the ejaculated semen generally appears normal to
the naked eye.
- Known causes of male infertility
Sperm
production problems
• Chromosomal or genetic causes
• Undescended testes (failure of
the testes to descend at birth)
• Infections
• Torsion (twisting of the
testis in scrotum)
• Varicocele (varicose veins of
the testes)
• Medicines and chemicals
• Radiation damage
• Unknown cause Blockage of
sperm transport
• Prostate related problems
• Absence of vas deferens
• Vasectomy Sexual problems (erection
and ejaculation problems)
• Retrograde and premature
ejaculation
• Failure of ejaculation
• Erectile dysfunction
• Infrequent intercourse
• Spinal cord injury
• Prostate surgery
• Damage to nerves
• Some medicines Hormonal
problems
• Pituitary tumours
• Congenital lack of LH/FSH
(pituitary problem from birth)
• Anabolic (androgenic) steroid abuse
- The male reproductive system
The
male reproductive system is made up of the testes, a system of ducts (tubes)
and other glands
that
open into the ducts. The brain plays an important part in the control of the male
reproductive
system.
The pituitary gland and the hypothalamus, located at the base of the brain,
control the production
of male hormones and sperm. Luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle
stimulating hormone (FSH) are the two important messenger hormones made by the
pituitary gland that act on the testes.
The
testes (testis: singular) are a pair of egg shaped glands that sit in the
scrotum next to the base of the penis on the outside of the body. The testes
make sperm and the male sex hormone testosterone. It takes about 70 days for
sperm to become mature and able to fertilize an egg.
When
released from the testes, the sperm spend two to 10 days passing through the
epididymis where they gain the vital ability to swim strongly (become
‘motile’), and to attach to and penetrate(get
into) the egg.
At
orgasm, waves of muscle contractions transport the sperm, with a small amount
of fluid, from the
testes through to the vascular veins. The seminal vesicles and prostate
contribute extra fluid to protect
the sperm. This mixture of sperm and fluid (the semen) travels along the
urethra to the tip of the penis where it is ejaculated (released).
- Too Much TV May Lower Sperm Count?

| sperm cells |
Men who watch a lot of TV may have a more sedentary lifestyle, which in turn may affect the sperm count, the researchers said. Indeed, the men in the study who exercised
the most — doing 15 or more hours a week of moderate to vigorous physical activity — had
sperm counts that were higher than those of guys who exercised less than 5
hours a week The findings suggest that having a more physically active lifestyle may improve sperm quality, said study.
- Sexual Problems
Sexual problems belong to
the group of conditions known as psychosomatic disorders, in which the body
expresses the distress via a symptom, such as low libido. Symptoms can be the
result of physical (somatic) and/or psychological relationship factors. All
psycho-sexual problems can be “primary”, meaning that the problem has been there
since the start of sexual experience, or “secondary”, when there was a period
of normal functioning before the problem began.
- Does A Man's Age Affect Fertility?
The likelihood of
pregnancy depends mostly on maternal age rather than paternal age. There is no
definitive age when men cannot reproduce because the number, or concentration,
of sperm remains relatively constant for them. Even with decreases in semen
volume, sperm motility and sperm morphology (the size and shape of sperm), men
are able to produce sperm well into their senior years. While some studies have
shown that advanced paternal age may be linked to higher miscarriage rates,
these data are difficult to interpret due to differences in maternal age and
the small numbers of patients in these studies. Nonetheless, while the effects
of paternal age on fertility may not be as dramatic as with maternal age, younger is probably
better.
- Can Hot Water Harm Sperm?
Men of 50-up should stay out of hot tubs while they're trying to conceive with their partner. Avoiding extreme contact heat to his manhood will keep your guy's sperm count nice and high. Sperm is best produced when the scrotum is about one degree cooler than the rest of the body. Think for a second about the difference between male and female bodies — ovaries are housed inside a woman's body, where they're protected and kept warm - study says.
Subsequent to the study of men at the end of the day it is not in our hands or capacity to do the things which is beyond our control. The proofed was that there were women conceived a baby in older times together with their older husband and that was Sarah and Abraham.
